I have been watching some of the Tokyo Olympics but a lot of these questions pertained to other questions. So much to learn so little time. Hank 1 month ago They are no longer the Olympics, just as Football, Basketball and most all other major and minor pro sports are no longer “sport matches” or even Games. Its just another platform for their handlers, darter I say… OWNERS views, in spectacle for all to see. It was ONCE the DREAM just to play at the top level ! Now its just MONEY, MONEY , MONEY, FAME, FAME, FAME, and they will say and do anything for it, take any stance needed to make the money people happy… The definition of selling your soul… But hey.. they are RICH are they not… HAPPY… OBLIVIOUS. Its all a Farce now, just like Politics and we aint never going back, not in the life time of anyone reading this Vent… JKGoode 1 month ago Why did you send me this quiz **twice** in the same day? Bryant 1 month ago I feel sorry for Japan. Those who pulled out did so because of what they felt for the country, HATE. Biles should be condemned nor revered as the tennis squat as the purple-haired soccer player. Instead, they receive huge contracts and of course media frenzy. Japan, a beautiful country with great people not only gets socked with a pandemic but the immaturity and ignorance of those who compete. If they don’t like the country that gave them the freedom to perform along with funds to be able to compete “get out” After these Olympics, the committee will start fundraising efforts to help winter athletes forget it! If this is the way you are going to display your hatred for this country see how you do in Irag, Botswana, or Chile. But get the hell out of ours. k9lawman 1 month ago You got 8 out of 10! Bill Dryden 1 month ago The “correct” answer given for Question 9 is INCORRECT!!! It was NOT in 2000, but in 1992. The 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona was the appearance of the US basketball team, nicknamed the “Dream Team.” Ron 1 month ago Amazingly, I got 7 out of 10! Even though I have always loathed the Olympics. As you can imagine, it was almost all guesses. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today. ;-) Last edited 1 month ago by Ron Todd 1 month ago 5/10 mostly guessing. Didn’t watch before all the political stuff. Won’t start now for sure. T. Anderson 1 month ago 3/10 all guesses. Have never had real interest in watching the Olympics, sometimes just read something that might pop up…so don’t really care only got three guesses right. Spike 1 month ago Reply to T. Anderson You did better than me , only got 2 right. Just don’t care about the olympics S Smith 1 month ago I wish these quiz questions would be a little more general, like a date range instead of exact dates. Unless one is an avid fan of the topic, or live in or near a city, state, or country, guesses and logic are your only tools. nje 1 month ago 3/10.. not good! I have watched some of the Olympics this year. Not soccer.. Many are true Americans and not protesting, but honoring our great country! Swimmers, gymnastics. My opinion, keep politics out of sports… T. Anderson 1 month ago Reply to nje Amen to no politics in sports. Also, no letting males who identify as females compete against real women. That is a disgusting way of cheating. Maybe need a new category…transgenders compete against other transgenders. Alex Cruz 1 month ago Dream Team for NBA was 1992, not 2000. Freda 1 month ago Reply to Alex Cruz Right, I have informed Amac Kate 1 month ago 5/10. All guesses, so not too bad. Have not been watching and won’t. Del Robinson 1 month ago It is so sad that a few real jackasses have ruined the games and the opportunities that some of these athletes have trained many years for. I feel sorry for them. If you don’t want to respect and support the team your on, you should not be there. I always do better on these the 2nd time through… :) LauraC 1 month ago Grim results for me, but not watching this year probably won’t improve things. Louise 1 month ago Dream Team was 1992, not one of the choices. Would someone please check these things before publishing? Errors in articles (Schiff is from California, not New York), spot the difference puzzles with no differences, you are losing a lot of credibility! Judith Dunn 1 month ago 7/10 I’ve been following results on YouTube not watching live. Joe from Las Vegas Nevada 1 month ago Reply to Judith Dunn I’m not even doing that.
